Stephanie Moriarty has extensive experience working with children in public schools in the state of Florida. She earned her undergraduate degree in Exceptional Student Education from Nova Southeastern University and spent many years as an educator serving students with disabilities. She has a Florida Teaching Certificate in Exceptional Student Education with an endorsement in English for Speakers of Other Languages. Stephanie earned her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and is currently a State Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with the state of Florida. Stephanie works privately as a Psychotherapist at the LaPorta Center and as an ESE Family/Specialist Therapist and Behavior Specialist for Hernando County Schools. She provides counseling and therapy under the supervision of Dr. Louis LaPorta for children, adults, couples, and families. Therapy groups are also available. Stephanie proudly serves on the Board of directors for NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) Hernando. |
